It has been a long journey in creating this film "Adam" centered around a girl who struggles with the idea of losing her best friend. This film was inspired by the loss of my aunt Lizzie who died in late 2019. "Adam" is about the pain that all loss causes, and the intense realizations that follow which allow us to change, many times for the better. I am a big dog lover, and treat my dogs like my children. However, with each passing year I worry about my attachment to them, especially as they go through multiple surgeries. It is for this reason that I finally wrote, directed, and produced this short film "Adam" about my dog and his relationship with the fictional character Elizabeth Martin, whom is similar to myself as a teen. I want to tell my story and believe it will touch the hearts of many who have experienced loss. |
