Some thing has to do something about all that dog sh*t. A corporate public information film about the importance of cleaning up after your dog. Come on guys, we're all in this epidemic together- just pick it up - the pup poop. James is a Welsh writer/director and since age 12 he’s been constantly having fun doing what he loves and making films. James has a track record of consistently creating projects, using creativity to stretch tiny budgets and regularly releasing high quality work. Since graduating from Newport Film School in 2013, James has written and directed (and sometimes acted in) twenty-one short films, each one has been officially selected and screened at film festivals, including Aesthetica. His work has collectively nabbed dozens of awards internationally at film festivals and competitions, notably James earned two BAFTA Cymru nominations for Writer and Best Short Film for his infamous The Corpse Series. James’ flair for off-the-wall and surreal comedy showcases a very particular, unrelenting energy which has meant his filmography is a consistent hit with global audiences. Viral hit, The Goat, gained an American fan-base which crowdfunded two sequels and flew James to America four times to attend screenings and stay with ‘goat-fans’. Comedies Road Rage & Melting Point were screened on DUST to hundreds of thousands of viewers and his films have over a million hits YouTube. James most recently wrote with and directed Alexander Armstrong in two comedy TV ads. Loosely inspired by folk tales, “A Fable for Four Voices” chronicles the mystical journey of a quartet of aging animals fleeing their fates to find a place free from fear to live out their days, overcoming their inherent differences and regaining a sense of wonder. Animator, musician, graphic designer, writer...I wear all of the hats (and I even make the espresso!), although I sometimes collaborate with other voiceover artists or musicians. Short and micro-short animated films are my passion, (including one-minute wonders) and they range from wacky off-kilter comedies to poetic immersions to surreal noir-inspired nightmares. All of my films are low/no budget creations! |
