Director Statement: In a world where everyone seems to rush and yield under the pressures of social media, fearing that without fancy filters and staged smiles, the reality is not captivating enough, I aim to inspire travelers to slow down, embrace the moment and allow their senses to take in all the natural beauty around.
AniFab judges scored The Egrets Voyage an aggregate 9 out of 10 with one judge commenting, "Simply stunning. I am thinking I might hear a narrator's voice within the first minute, and then thought, NO, please don't have narration. A simple yet elegant story that shares so much."
Director StatementIn the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, most of the media attention was focused on human victims. I thought that it was important to shine a spotlight on the dramatic situation of some of the most defenseless among us. The founders of GRASS and its volunteers have a true love for the older dogs especially Goldens and are dedicated to their welfare. It is clear that their efforts can make a difference in the life of senior dogs. I found their efforts during that dramatic time to be truly inspiring.
Lan Ding Yao / Change had an aggregate rating by the AniFab judges of 8.6 out of 10 and one of the judges commented, Change is a very interesting movie. I was captivated from the first frame. I cannot imagine the potential abuse from some of the subjects towards the filmmaker. The tension was very real.

Director statement
The words such as animal, animalism, animalistic are outwardly atrocious in essence. Never heard about a clan of ‘animals’ colluded against another one but sapiens do. Unlike humans, they kill to consume and mate consensually! The short fiction titled 'Project Bau' is purely inspired by the bonding between myself and our adorable puppy 'Milo'. He runs to me promptly with a hue of anxiety on his face every time when I sneeze or cough. Felt so simple or stupid? but that's the very spark! No doubt, dogs are our best friends, especially in isolation and separateness. They expect nothing in return but our mere presence. The AniFab screening team thoroughly enjoyed Project Bau, and we found it to be a moving portrait of the transformative powers that others, including other species, can have on the health and wellbeing of people. The AniFab screening team scored Project Bau an 8.2 out of a possible 10, with one judge commenting, "A Solid Movie!" Project Bau is in the running for monthly, annual AniFab Awards.
AniFab judge's aggregated score is 5.3 out of 10 with one of the judges commenting, "I thought this was cute, as I have a dog that has a voice just as Bobcat does."
