Saman Hosseinpuor was born in Saqez/Kurdestan, during the year 1993. He started acting in Theater when he was just 14 years old, and started filmmaking in 2008. During this time Saman bagan writing short stories. Saman is a Director, Cinematographer and Writer currently living in Iran.
Saman most recently won the Best Asian Film and Best director award for his movie Slaughter at the Global University Film Awards (GUFA) 2020 in Hong Kong, including a $20,000 USD proze!
