Iconic filmmaker Kevin Smith & his daughter Harley Quinn Smith will serve as Ambassadors of #AniFab the Animalis Fabula Film Festival in the Mueller / Highland neighborhoods of Austin from November 26 thru 28, 2021, holding the titles; Grand Poobah & Grand Duchess. Kevin and Harley's responsibilities will include presenting some of the films before they play, providing feedback to directors with some of the films they've watched, helping gather images of rescue animals for the sick kids at Dell Children's Medical Center who get to pick the "animal" King & Queen. And, as a special favor, the vegan activist and her dad will leave "easter egg style" videos before and after a couple of the films screening in the festival. Audience members who read the QR code will have an opportunity to win an amaze-balls prize. The "Grands" will also pay tribute to the nonprofits attending AniFab with shout-outs to help them raise their Austin nonprofit profiles. Austin Bat Refuge, Safe In Austin, Society for Adoption and Rescue of Animals, Leave It For The Pooch, BEARS, Etc and the Austin Wildlife Rescue are a few of the nonprofits that will be in attendance at Mueller Lakeside Amphitheater. from Mercy for Animals Actress-musician Harley Quinn Smith cheers her father on now that his vegan experiment has turned into a lifestyle.
