Tayo - Short Documentary - Switzerland

"Tayo" is the true story of Manuel and his dog, which emphasizes the importance of the human-animal bond and reflects on the sufferings and difficulties of life, metaphorically represented by a mountain.

Director Matteo Rolfi was born in 1990 in Italy (Mondovi', Piemont) and after university studies  moved to Switzerland (Lugano) in 2015 for work reasons.

"I immediately began to feel a strong desire to take pictures of every new place I was exploring, and I started doing so with my mobile phone. Today I am still working and living as commercial photographer and filmmaker in Switzerland."
