When Melissa, a single mother, and her daughter Alison have the neighbors over, things quickly get out of hand. Alison’s dog Chippy accidentally bites the neighbor girl, forcing Melissa to make a difficult choice.

R.D. Womack II is a director based in Los Angeles. As a storyteller his primary interests are rooted in character driven pieces with dynamic stories. Drama, action, and the occasionally dark comedy are his forte. He leans heavily on character dialog and striking visuals, woven together with a unique editorial style. Womack has recently finished his debut feature film "When the Wolf Calls".

Director’s Statement
The issue of pet adoption has always been something very close to my heart. In particular, the misuse and mislabeling of aggressive dogs has come to the forefront of my attention, especially in the past few years. There are aggressive and dangerous dogs, but unfortunately the majority of dogs labeled “aggressive” are far from vicious, rabid animals. Many are caring and loving creatures that may have had a single bad incident. Its this “unseen” side of dog aggression that I wanted to highlight in “Chippy.”
