K9 Service With A Twist - Bulverde, Texas

​K9SWAT.org trains service dogs and battle buddies for local veterans who suffer from social isolation, MST, and/or PTSD. Eligible dogs undergo advanced training to be partnered with veterans in need of an Emotional Support Animal or K9SWAT Certified Service Dog, completely free of charge. K9SWAT.org supports those veterans and their dogs with training and recertification throughout the dog’s life.

​'Winston's Warriors' pairs, trains, and prepares Veterans to compete in a variety of athletic events alongside their K9 teammates.

Competitiveness is engrained in our Veteran community, and many times, service members struggle to maintain their competitive drive upon separation from the military. This program assists Veterans in finding their ideal athletic teammate (rescue dogs in many cases), in addition to providing scholarship training programs for existing Veteran-owned companions. Program includes pairing Veterans with a companion, training, and all associated competitive fees (entry fees, etc) for the first full year of competition.
